All Terms and Conditions set out within this Agreement must be met and honoured before we can process any of dresses to rent.

Costume Rental Polices

All rentals require a minimum $70 cash security deposit The standard security deposit is to be charged with the rental fee and will be credited back to when the rental is returned complete (all items returned in same condition as rented out).

ALTERATIONS:

Please do not take the item to the dry cleaner. We handle the dry cleaning and it's included in the cost of the rental, so simply drop it back to us when you're finished with it.

Costumes/garments may NOT be cut, dyed, painted or embellished. Tape, iron-on bonding- web, glue or any other type of adhesives may NOT be used on costumes/garments.

Once rented, you are responsible for taking care of the item. You agree to treat each rental piece with care and respect. You will be held responsible for any loss, destruction or damage to the product beyond any regular wear and tear (small stains, rips, missing beads or buttons, broken zippers or any other minor damage covered by your $5 rental insurance). The Sell it 2 Wear it Inc. reserves the right to determine whether damages exceed the regular wear and tear allowance. Should you choose not to purchase the $5 rental insurance you will be charged for any minor repairs needed upon return of the dress.

DAMAGED OR LOST COSTUME FEES:

Normal wear and tear on costumes is expected and won’t incur extra charges. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will incur damage charges above the security deposit.

Damage charges will be assessed for broken zippers, detached garment pieces, make-up or other permanent stains or any other damage that renders the costume not rentable. It includes the cost of the supplies needed to restore the garment to its original state as well as labor costs. Major damage to costumes, including irreparable tears, or irreversible marks will be assessed at the replacement value of the costume. Lost costumes will be assessed with a lost costume fee of the replacement value of the costume.

Once you pick up your item it is considered rented for the time period agreed upon. Unfortunately if you choose not to wear it after you have picked it up we cannot refund / credit you for it.

You may cancel your booking at any time up to the first day of your rental term.

Late returns are subject to a late fee charge of $20 per item per day and are strictly enforced, no exceptions. We base our business around scheduling and late returns prevent us from getting the item ready for the next renter in time. After 5 days you will be charged the full retail value of the item in addition to any applicable late fees and the rental fee that has already been paid.

I agree to sign a Credit Card Authorization form to complete the rental process with Sell it 2 Wear it Inc. I understand this information will only to be used if damage/replacement charges above the security deposit are required and will be returned to me upon the return and approval of the rented costumes/garments.

Sell it 2 Wear it INC. is not responsible or liable to The Renter for personal injury or death to any person, or property damage arising out of or in connection with said items owned or leased by Sell it 2 Wear it Inc. The Renter agrees to use the costumes or other items specified on this agreement at the Renter’s own risk.
